Molecular Genetics & Gene Therapy
The Division of Molecular Genetics and Gene Therapy is comprised of a core group of scientists with primary appointments in sthe Department and a group of molecular biologists from other departments who hold joint appointments in Medical and Molecular Genetics. The Division has a broad research interest that include studies of telomere composition and maintenance in normal and cancer cells, genetics of breast cancer, genetic mechanisms of vertebrate development, physiology of coagulation and hemostatic factors, molecular genetics of metabolic bone and skin diseases, diabetes and gene therapy.
