National Gene Vector Biorepository
The Division of Molecular Genetics and Gene Therapy is home to the NIH/NCRR National Gene Vector Biorepository (NGVB). The facility has a large array of gene therapy reagents. It will also archive samples from GLP toxicology studies, GMP vectors, and patient monitoring samples. It assist investigators with FDA required testing. The NGVB also maintains two web-based tools, the Gene Therapy Pharmacology/Toxicology Database that provides information about studies submitted to the FDA. It also maintains the SeqMap bioinformatics tool which assist investigators conducting Sanger and next-generation sequencing of insertion sites. Academic investigators seeks gene therapy reagents and services can get more information by going to the NGVB website (www.NGVBCC.org).
